I was lucky enough to go to the Jam in Puerto Vallarta and I placed top ten my first Jam! It was truly a magical experience that I will never forget! It was the most exciting week ever and I have nothing but good things to say about Ujena and the Jam! I can't wait to Jam again and see and work with all of the wonderful new friends I have made through the Jam! I love Ujena!

Bueno, ante todo deciros que Cancún fué para mí algo mágico, fué una experiencia maravillosa y, aunque fué un durísimo trabajo el que realizé y terminé agotado fisica y mentalmente, en esos 9 dias que pasaron como si fueran 9 horas pude sentir el cariño y a la vez la admiracion profesional que causa mi persona ante muchos de vosotros y eso de verdad me emociona y me enorgullece gratamente.
Me gustaría daros las gracias a todos los que pusisteis vuestro granito de arena para que este jam fuera inolvidable para mi, pero quisiera hacer una mención especial a mi "secretaria" Aurora, a Dany Kosh, a Ricardo, perdon, Rodrigo y Christian de D´ANTRO, a todo el equipo de Extra TV 42 y por supuesto a los 2 patrocinadores que me obsequiaron con sus awards, D´ANTRO y KATA.

When I went to PV in 08 I wasn't expecting anything. Whatever happens happens... well when I got there everyone was so nice and the hotel was awesome! I have to admit I ate way too much of the awesome food they provided for us. lol
The parties were fun and I was able to do a lot of great networking with industry people.
I would definitely recommend going to a UjENA jam. It's beneficial and FUN!

This was my third Jam and I would have to say one of my favorites. When I came this year I was much more relaxed and wasn't expecting much but a wonderful time with old & new friends. I was honored to be selected for the Top 20 at the Jam and win the Image Award from the Crown Paradise.
One of my favorite thing as always is how easy going and nice you and you staff always are. I love that you are never too busy for anyone at the Jam to chat about any comments or concerns.

The 2nd Jam in my life and the 3rd time working with the UjENA family. I really had a good time and had my agenda full to the maximum and wasn't able to shoot in full with many models (among them Elizabeth Leigh, Melissa Ilievski, and others) that kindly asked me to shoot. I wasn't expecting a good reaction this year from models and it was wonderful to see known faces and meet new Jammers.
Since I knew UjENA some years ago and when I signed with it, I've become known better outside my country, and Styling magazine in Macedonia has been a great prize for that!. The Jams allows me to work with excellent models from all over and, in this second one, I've seen how far I have improved, with a new style better and different to last year's.
I believe I did a better job, much better than BJ 23, fortunately, we had a lot of good competitors so I know the jury had a hard time chosing the best photographers. I wasn't able to make it to the TOP 20 nor an award (and I really thought I was scratching one!), but what really makes me have and proud, is that I've seen an improvement on my skills, had so many shoot requests and even a fan group!!! I might not be an "official" winner, but I truly consider myself as one, cause I had the wonderful chance to shoot with nice models and allow me to achieve a good work, I have the best "brother" like Alejandro Anguiano and being blessed to shoot with Kristina Hughes and as always, to the Big Boss Bob that leaves always an open door for all us to compete and show off who we are, how we do it and what are we able to do.
This wasn't my time to win, but next year it will...
I want to thank you for my making my big comeback to the bikini jam as wonderful as it was 13 years ago! Each Jam experience is different but nonetheless, I enjoyed my week in PV and have made some lasting friendships! It's amazing that the images I got is so different than it was 13 years ago and I appreciate them tremendously. I am grateful to have worked with some amazing photographers who have worked hard day in and day out making the time especially in their hectic schedule to do shoots with me! That says alot about a photographer who is truly committed to his craft! I love all of the UjENA Staff Models who are such darlings!!!! I love Catherine Cross who has done an amazing job with make up work she did on my face and she's a absolute doll! I love you Catherine! Everyone was so wonderful and fun to be around!
Of course, I'm still very tired from the long trip and am trying to upload more pictures. I've taken nearly 300 photos from my camera! Imagine that! Also, working on selecting the best images from my photoshoots to upload in my profile. I look forward to the next bikini jam!!! Yes, my hair will be a lot longer by then!

Ya está a la vuelta de la esquina el 23 Encuentro Internacional de Fotógrafos y Modelos (UjENA JAM), que se celebrará en Puerto Vallarta del 23 al 31 de agosto. Estoy formando un grupo de fotógrafos y modelos mexicanos (tenemos que ser al menos 12) que quieran aprovechar esta oportunidad única en muchos sentidos. La ventaja de ir como grupo radica en que podemos obtener un descuento de $100 dólares cada uno en la cuota de inscripción. Sé que muchos no se han animado a participar por los costos, pero bien vale la pena hacer un esfuerzo.
Este Encuentro ofrece muchas ventajas a los participantes. Para los que nunca han ido, déjenme explicarles en qué consiste. En Puerto Vallarta nos reunimos más de 300 fotógrafos, modelos, promotores y patrocinadores. Por un lado, los fotógrafos tienen la oportunidad de tomarles fotos a modelos de todo el mundo. Por el otro, las modelos reciben copia de esas fotos. De entrada, todos enriquecen sus destrezas y su portafolio. Los fotógrafos pueden considerar este encuentro como una oportunidad adicional de mejorar sus habilidades al tratarse formalmente de una competencia. Quizás uno de los aspectos más interesantes es que todos son valorados en función del resultado fotográfico. No se trata de un concurso de belleza. Se trata de una competencia en la que se manifiesta la capacidad de trabajar en equipo el binomio fotógrafo-modelo.
Pero también es un espacio para capacitarse. A lo largo del Encuentro se ofrecerán 10 talleres de capacitación, cada uno de una hora de duración. Fotografía en locación, técnicas en el aprovechamiento de la luz, selección y edición de imágenes, maquillaje, aprovechamiento óptimo de la cámara, modelar con bikini… Yo mismo impartiré un taller sobre fotografía artística. Simplemente el valor de estos talleres ya vale lo que cuesta participar en el evento.
Durante las actividades hay cazadores de talentos. Revistas como Maxim y Playboy, televisoras como TV Azteca, Televisa y Canal 7 de Costa Rica, cadenas de TV por cable, empresas privadas como Nikon y Corona y la prensa nacional e internacional tienen su mirada puesta en este evento. Muchas modelos han iniciado su carrera profesional después de participar en estos encuentros. Muchos fotógrafos logran jugosos contratos. En otras palabras, tendrás la mesa puesta y toda la libertad para moverte y hacer relaciones públicas.
Por supuesto, todos los días hay fiestas y al final se entregan los más de 40 premios y reconocimientos con valor de cientos de miles de dólares en un cierre espectacular.
El caso es que vale la pena. Si sumas todas estas ventajas verás que el precio es muy razonable. Irte simplemente de vacaciones a cualquier lugar te costaría lo mismo o más.

Being new to UjENA, I have a lot to experience! So far, it seems to a company not only focused on selling swimwear, but focused on bringing people together. Sure, they bring together models, photographers, make-up artists, hairdressers, agents, and the like, but they do more than that. Through their events, they're helping people form lifelong friendships, all while having a great time! Everyone who is fortunate enough to go to one of the Jams is making memories that will last a lifetime! To me, that's priceless, and you really can't put a pricetag on it.
I had so much fun in Spain that I can't even think of missing another Ujena Jam.... So typing and crossing my finger (at the same time LOL) I hope my essay wins! :-)
I love the people, the clothing and all the fun that comes with it. I have to say that being a part of Ujena and the Jams have totally changed my life. After returning from Spain I find it very hard to even explain why I love ujena so much. It is more of an emotion now and a warm fuzzy feeling followed with a bright smile!

I LOVE Ujena! Ever since i went to my first Jam in Puerto Vallarta, I've been hooked. At first I just thought the UjenaTalent.com website was a great place to find gorgeous bikini models, but with my first experiences shooting models in Ujena fashions, including cool bikinis that look better than other bikinis I've worked with, I realized there is NO BETTER WAY to get great photos of lots of gorgeous models in a wide variety of swimwear and other outfits!
Ujena opens up a whole world of possibilities! I know of NO other event that compares with a Ujena Jam, and I know of no site that compares with UjenaTalent.com - that's WHY . . . I LOVE UJENA!
I remember when I was attending college in Washington, DC, and at homecoming I was approached by a recruiter who told me about the UjENA Bikini Jam. I decided to enter, filled out the paperwork, and sent in some photos. My best moment took place when Bob Anderson, founder and President of UjENA, called me personally to congratulate me on being qualified to compete in the Bikini Jam. And more amazingly on that note, I am hard of hearing, so he called me on the TTY line, which is a device that was widely used by the deaf and hard of hearing community! I was incredibly honored that the President of UjENA took the time to call me! I of course thanked Bob, promptly accepted the invite to Bikini Jam X, and then moved out to California to give this modeling opportunity a shot.
My love for UjENA became ever stronger after competing in Bikini Jam X which took place in Costa Mesa, CA back in 1995. From that time I was hooked and the memories and connections I developed have been with me ever since. At that Jam I also made the Swimwear Illustrated Calendar and the UjENA Bikini Team – from over 300 contestants I couldn’t have been more thrilled!
Over the years, UjENA has always promoted health and fitness and has included many events in their Jams involving runway, talents shows, sports including the one I participated in - archery, and the 5k run which has been in every Jam since its inception. All this has demonstrated why I love UjENA so much – for its continued mission: the empowerment of women to lead a healthy, happy, and physically fit lifestyle. And beautiful women from all over the world have lived this dream and been a part of the International Bikini Jams demonstrating their talent, beauty, and athleticism.
I love that UjENA also provides amazing opportunities in the form of scholarship program contests, numerous Bikini Jam beauty and fitness sponsored competitions, and endless networking with other models and photographers. That is one of the other incredible and unique things about the Bikini Jam competitions – they are a combined swimsuit model and photographer competition. This ends up attracting photographers from all over the world, photographers who have a great passion for their craft and create high quality photos which end up making the UjENA Swimwear Illustrated magazines the best ever!

Ujena has provided me with a combination of things that I could not get anywhere else.
As a photographer, I'm constantly finding new sites to market myself on and show off my porfolio. Most are simply portfolio post sites, some feature blogs, forum or some other type of 'network' feature, but none has the sense of community that ujenatalent.com has. The quality of the photographers and the models that I see on ujenatalent.com is also outstanding. That's even more amazing in that there is no fee to join the site.
I have attended many group shoots, workshops and seminars over the years, but NOTHING like the Ujena Talent Jam. It's difficult to explain to someone how much MORE this is than what you see on the surface. The pairing of gorgeous models and well-made, beautiful swimsuits in such a lush, exotic location was perfect for creating fansatic images. Also, my trip ended up being one of the best learning experiences I could have asked for.
By being a part of the Ujena community and Talent Jam, I've made freinds that I hope to keep for life, increased my skills as a photographer and made business contacts that I would never have dreamed of making.
I found Ujena by a Photographer friend in my country, Puerto Rico. I wish very much to be a model with a lot of work. I started 2-3 years ago to study to be a model, but because of situations in my life I have been far away from the modeling industry. When I found Ujena and there was a rebirth in me of that love that I have for art of modeling. I love Ujena. It fills me with new hope again for that dream that I had since I was a little girl of being a model. Hello all first thing I want to say is "why I love ujena jam". I think its a great experience and opportunity for models to get a feel of why they choose the field of modeling. I think this will help improve a model's potential and show her the ropes of the entertainment business. I hope to gain lots of experience from other models and to get more exposure. Ujena provides a great environment for the models to feel safe and provide excellent images to take home with you. I am very eager to join Ujena and hope to get to one of the bikini jams this year. There are so many reason why we all love Ujena and the Bikini Jams, but I will just keep it short and sweet with this essay dedicated to the experiences I've had and love with Ujena.
I hear the waves. I feel the rush. I’ve got my powder. I’ve got my brush. I feel the sun on my skin. I’ve got drive it takes to win. The sun is low, the stakes are high. I stare into the camera’s eye. Crash the waves into my soul. Capture my heart on your blank film roll.
Today again I make new friends, for years to come at all earth's ends. Shoot me till the day is done. Tomorrow I rise before the sun. See the stars fade away, see new ones shine throughout the day. Run and shoot, swim and smile. We do it best Ujena style!

I LOVE Ujena because of all the social networking sites I've ever joined or participated in Ujena is the BEST. Just last week Ujena recognized one of photographs as on of the Top Ten of the Week. That has NEVER happen on ANY other site ever! Just that recognition alone is what convinces me that Ujena is the REAL DEAL :)
Why do I love Ujena? It might take a lot more time than I can even spare to write it all out, but the reasons are very real, as are the people involved.
The comaradarie has to be the number one reason, as it is a large family setting, where the system may be competitive when the group has to be in the Jams, but even then, it is done with the best of assistance, guidance for those in need, and friendship for all. It is also the best of family settings when tragedy strikes, and someone is in need of a kind word, some real wisdom, or even a good hug.
Professionalism is also a very major quality, and one that is advancing in all phases of our trades, and we see that every day, with improvements in the images we submit, as the people get to share ideas, and also get to attend the seminars and classes that are put on. Everything we do to advance our own images, and those of everyone around us, improves the image of us all.
The quality of the Ujena Swimwear product, and it's fit, sexiness and appeal when on these amazing models has to be mentioned as well, as without that to assist in making the photographs have their zing, the photographers would just be photographing landscapes.
The travel opportunities have been amazing, as well as the opportunity to assist models in getting their chance to get to the jams by donating to scholorships, and seeing their reactions when they get to these locations, and their thanks is very rewarding. Additionally knowing you had a part in their making it to the top 20, or receiving a Fame reward is very fulfilling.
The corporation also, from top to bottom, always shows dedication, not only to product, but to service in getting the Jams done, and other needs taken care of. Taking care of family...
Most of all, one gets the best reward when you see the model displaying the photos you took of them, as that really acknowledges their appreciation for the work you have done for them.
This community has been very good about giving the recognition to each other, for not only the major accomplishments of the competitions, but even the minor ones of daily life, the successes of careers, and even the support through the tragedies that fate may deliver.
But that is what a real family is about, and that is truly what this community is, to at least the great many of those who are active and dedicated to it. Myself proudly included. - Keith
I Love Ujena! I'm 23 years old. I was born in Ecuador but currently live in Houston. I am a full time student at the University of Houston. I am a broadcast journalism major with a minor in Spanish and hope to use that in a career in television. I have done some modeling in the past and would love to get back in the business so I can travel the world. I am in need of some sponsorship so I can attend Ujena Jam in PV.
I have discovered the UJENA family of websites not too long ago and from what I can see they are a great organization with many interesting events to attend and a huge network of business contacts, models and photographers too. I have just booked my Spain trip's ticket and I look forward to meet some great people, get new contacts for having more work and meeting awesome models as well ;-)
I Love Ujena...because as soon as Brucie told me about it I signed up asap and have never looked back.
The site is so well organised and a great place to network and meet like minded people and industry professionals alike.
There is always something new happening and although I have yet too attend a Jam yet myself I am very much looking forward too that experience as following the feedback from the people that have been it seems like is an opportunityhat one should experiance at least once.
The experience would be enough....given the fantastic locations the Jams are held in...but there is also the chance that you could take your experience too the next level with all the media attention and the wonderful prizes that are on offer.
Ujena is set up and run like a family business and that really comes across...although I am fairly new on here..I feel really welcome and that I know so many of you already..it is so personnel...in a good way.

Once upon a time there was a couple that I will call ‘Martha and Rich’.
Martha was a beautiful person on the outside and even more beautiful on the inside. She was just getting started with small modeling projects when she came across an amazing opportunity to dive into the world of bikini modeling. Ujena was holding their annual Ujena jam bikini contest. This one was Ujena Jam 17 and Martha decided to test her modeling skills and enter the contest. Her first Jam was an amazing experience which opened so many doors for her. She made top 12 and was featured in the Ujena calendar. The very next Jam, she made top 5. Her confidence increased and little by little I saw Martha blossom into a very confident and truly hot model. Today she is a long time staff model for Ujena and just thinks the world of the product and the company that stands behind it.
Richard was a sole proprietor in the roofing business and attended Ujena Jam 17 as a guest to support Martha. With every Jam that he attended, he began to feel like he was a part of this event and eventually decided to “officially” become part of the event by entering the Jam as a competing photographer. Martha bought him his first camera, and with zero photography schooling, he dove in and entered the contest. Thinking he’d take last place due to his lack of professional training, he was ecstatic when he found out that he had placed in the top 20 of the competing photographers. That was an amazing result for such a green photographer who showed up with nothing more than a decent camera and an eye for beauty. Recently, at Ujena Jam 23 in Cancun, he won 1st place and there to hand him his trophy, was no other than Martha herself. Ujena gave Richard the opportunity and confidence to develop into a truly talented self taught photographer. He too thinks the world of Ujena and the founders behind it.
Richard is my brother (who I am very proud of) and Martha is his long time girlfriend (who I am also very proud of). Through them, over the last several years, I have heard so many wonderful things about Ujena that I too now feel like I have been a part of these events and have become so familiar with some of the faces of Ujena that I have decided to attend my first Jam as a guest in Spain this May. Although I have never personally had any involvement with Ujena, two very important people in my life are very much who they are today thanks to the opportunities that Ujena has provided for them and THAT’s why I love Ujena!

Hello everyone I am Rabecca Lee and simply put “I Love Ujena”! Ujena is more than a clothing/swimwear company. Ujena is the foundation of new friendships, opportunities, and a new way of doing business.
Ujena kick starts long lasting friendships. My first bikini Jam was Jam 23. I went not knowing exactly what to expect from the Jam. I was a little nervous and concerned about joining a company I had never worked with before. All that soon passed once I arrived and was greeted by the Ujena staff with such enthusiasm. I felt like I was the star of the show. I had a great time, but the best part was all the new friends I made. I had a terrific roommate that is now a close friend of mine. I also had the pleasure of meeting and becoming friends with girls that I had competed against in other contest via the internet. I will always value and keep in touch with my new friends. Modeling is not a set job for some with a set paycheck, so networking and getting new opportunities is very important. Ujena offers models a way to get out there and get the opportunities one may have been looking for without having to go through an expensive agency or standing in long casting call lines. It is just you being you! The companies get to see you in your own lime light. Ujena puts the opportunities right in front of you. One of the most eye-catching things about Ujena is the way the company does business. I love the fact that Ujena is family based. As my work day progresses and I sit at my desk plugging away at this item and handling that emergent situation, I daydream of all the remarkable times shared with all the UjENA friends and family made at Bikini Jam 23. Although the excursion was only 10 days, it seemed far more like a different time, a different place, a different life all together. I can not help but think that this event that seems so small and simple to those around me would be such a life changing experience. This was no ten day trip; it was 240 uninterrupted hours where I truly got to live my dream. Most significant was the chance to meet so many people from all over the world. People who have the same drive and passion and even the shared my personal quest for the perfect image. I remember thinking every moment of my trip ‘How privileged am I to get the opportunity to be here, to be a part of this’. Amidst the madness of securing photographers and balancing this shoot and that day trip, I would take a moment and look around me, soak up the beautiful scenery and think ‘I may be the luckiest girl alive right now!’ Between the fans in disbelief saying, ‘You can not be from my home town!’ and the big break in my modeling career in shooting with one of the most recognized national publications in the world, Maxim en Espanol, I was certainly overwhelmed! More than overwhelmed, I am in love! I could never show enough gratitude to Bob and the entire UjENA crew. Each and every one of the staff has made it possible for so many girls to truly live the dream and for that… I can never thank you all enough!

I love Ujena for many reasons. Ujena provides a variety of swimwear & clothing that is both affordable, fashionable, unique and versitile. I have referred several friends to Ujena who were either planning a trip/cruise or just looking for the perfect beach attire & i have receive nothing but positive feedback!
On the ujenatalent.com website there are many features that you can access like the photo galleries, daily top photos & contests that give the models and photographers exposure and opportunity to share their work to the Ujena talent members.
All of the Ujena websites are search friendly which makes it that much easier to find what you are looking for.
Attending one of the Ujena Talent Jams has always been an experience that i have wanted to be a part of. I feel that as a model this is would be an amazing opportunity to surround myself with others in the industry with the experience and knowledge that i desire to take me to that next level in my career.
Standing in shadows never gets you noticed, you have to take the step that puts you out in the sun with your arms wide open and grab that dream and squeeze it until it becomes your reality!
I just hope that someday i am fortunate enough to have the Ujena Bikini Jam experience.
My first Ujena Jam experience was in 2006 (BJ23) and I didn’t know what to expect and how to work in this event. Now, after three jams I now see and experience everything possible out of the jam. Not only the opportunity of working with wonderful models from all around the world at an exotic location to build up my portfolio, but it is the time I get the chance to exchange and learn from my peers.
As a photographer, I see the Ujena jam as a workshop: a giant workshop. I work under conditions that are totally alien from me and have to adapt and work the best possible shots. Where else could I sit with top international photographers and learn from them other than a Ujena Jam?
Where else could I have the opportunity to work with a model from Germany, Mexico, Costa Rica, United States or the Ukraine other than the Ujena Jam?
Some people make of their house the whole world. Because of the many friends I have, I now can make the whole world my house.
Back in the 80’s, my wife used to buy the Ujena catalogue. If I look through my stack of boxes of magazines, I’m pretty sure that I can pull out a few issues! So, I’ve always been a fan of the swimsuit collection. As years pass by, I see the Ujena team haven’t sat on their laurels and always have kept on researching on new styles and new cuts.
And last but not least and probably the most important reason why I love Ujena is certainly because of the staff. I’ve always felt that all the way to the top, the people are supportive and will work with you so that both parties benefit from each other. Even though one might think that it’s all business, I can vouch that it’s more about friendship and team work.
I’ve learned photography skills from their staff photographers. I’ve learned to shoot catalogue style from their editor. I’ve learned about swimsuits from their staff models. I’ve learned about marketing from their website. I’ve learned to improve my work in photography because of their competition.
Basically, I’m a much better photographer because of Ujena. Because I’m a better photographer, I get more lucrative business. Basically, I feel that I’m cheating Ujena for the rewards I get for the money I put in.

I love Ujena because of all the wonderful services and exposure they offer to models, photographers, makeup artists and stylists alike. Since joining Ujena a few years ago I have made countless valuable connections that I would never have made otherwise. I have been fortunate enough to attend two Bikini Jams in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and am hoping for a 3rd in Spain. I can’t tell you how incredible these events are. Thank you once again for another wonderful Ujena Jam experience in Puerto Vallarta! Having only been to Jam 22 in Spain earlier this year, I considered myself better prepared than a newbie but still didn't know quite what to expect from the International Jam. It was obviously much larger and difficult to meet every single participant, but I enjoyed myself very much and am thankful to my sponsors for turning this great opportunity a reality.
I was able to network and cast with so many companies and people in the industry, and shoot with over 26 wonderful photographers in the 9 days I was there. Not to mention making new friends and strengthening the friendships I made in Spain. I am very honored to have been chosen for the QOOP Bikini Image Award and named the QOOP Bikini Model of the Year. I even got to shoot with Maxim En Espanol!

Mexico was so awsome....it was my first jam but I am hooked and will be returning! The people of the Ujena family couldnt have been better! I would like to share an idea, that I already shared with Cassandra...there needs to be a section of the catalog where we can buy the clothes worn by the staff models after the events. You have the perfect girls modeling those outfits and now we want them. It would be great if we had a chance to purchase them after the jams. Just an idea but after seeing the staff girls in them...who wouldnt want them? had an awsome time and hope to do it again...thank you Ujena!!!! besos

I just wanted to thank you for the life changing experience I had in Spain!! On the airplane I was extremely nervous...I didnt know what to expect and I didnt have any bikini modeling experience. From the moment I entered the hotel I was greeted with smiling faces and the support of people I now consider life long friends. The amount of knowledge I absorbed from the other models and photographers was absolutely priceless. Being named Model of the Year has made me feel as if anything is possible with hard work and the right attitude. I feel so honored to be a part of the Ujena family. I wanted to give a special thank you to Cassandra. She has to be one of the the most beautiful people inside and out that I have ever met. She guided me through every step of the registration process and made me feel completely comfortable flying over to participate. I also wanted to thank Brian Wiliams who sponsored me when we were still complete strangers. He had so much faith in me and it truely touched me.
I really cant explain what this experience has done for me. Its so great to be a part of a company that represents their models in such a positive light. You are truely amazing people and I cant wait to see what the future holds!!!

I just returned from the first ever European Bikini Jam in Sitges, Spain and I had an amazing time. Thanks to all of you for your hard work in planning and executing the event. I had the opportunity to shoot with several great photographers and expand my portfolio, while networking and making friends at the same time.
Our accomodations were incredible, way more than I expected. Our hotel rooms were very spacious and overlooked the ocean. I was fortunate to have been paired up as roommates with Tracy Pendergast (the overall model winner). I can honestly say I have a new friend for life. We had so much fun and got along perfect! The drivers provided to us were so helpful and I really appreciate all the times they shuttled us to/from the train station or into the heart of Sitges. From the moment I stepped off the plane and saw the Ujena staff waiting for me until the final day when Martin dropped me off at the airport, I knew I was being taken care of by Ujena.
The evening events were a blast and planned out with enough time in between for us to still work on our images and have photo shoots. I like that we had the 5K because it gave us an opportunity to get in a great workout. It was my first race ever and I was thrilled to win in the competing model category and get a medal!
I think the event was a true success and I'm looking forward to attending another Bikini Jam in the future! All the best,

All I can say about Jam 22 is WOW!!! It was a blast. The best part to me was the small size allowed everyone to meet just about everyone else, which is impossible in Puerto Vallarta. Ujena is by far the classiest firm in the industry. Keep it up!
Making the top five photographers and being the only one in the top five from the US is an honor. Being mentioned in the same sentence with Indrek, Patrik, Ed and David is an honor.
To the guys and gals from Bennett Productions. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to be filmed so much. It was a blast. I look forward to seeing you all again in Puerto Vallarta.

I had a great time in Puerto Vallarta! :) The UjENA staff went above and beyond to it a great event and you could tell. Never have I seen such positive morale among so many employees of one company during such a stressful time as organizing and running an event like Bikini Jam 21. My hat's off to the entire staff! :)

I agree with Amber, too. Though this was a competition, I always felt at home both among the models and my fellow photographers. It was more like a giant brain storming session than it was a competition.

I was a little sad and disappointed that I could not make it to your BikiniJam 2006. I really wanted to show that 30 and 40 year old women can also be sexy and beautiful in Ujena bikini's and dresses. Bikini's are such a part of Brasilian culture! And regarding Ujena dresses and clubkini clothes...I have looked everywhere and NO ONE has clothes as beautiful as Ujena....I get so many comments about my body wearing your clothes! :-)))I go to many parties and men think I am 25 years old when I am wearing Ujena clothes!!!!!
Bob, I'd love to work with Ujena and especially you someday again soon. It would be a dream come true to work for the Ujena Company for me. There are thousands of women out there across the USA that work hard at taking care of their bodies while also working full time and taking care of children.....it is this market that I want to help Ujena explore! I will be 43 this coming November with two teenage boys and I want to show American women that you can still be hot and sexy after turning 40! I say....why not?

As a first timer at a Bikini Jam, I just don't know what to say. I had a blast and learned so much. The Staff of Ujena should be commended for putting together such a great event (it couldn't have been easy). The photographers that I worked with were just wonderful and next year I hope to work with so many more. As you can see from the last sentence, I do plan on attending next year. Thanks so much for everything Ujena Staff, Photographers and Models (and now friends). You are the best!

Looks like Jam 21 was quite a sucess. I want you all to know I stayed at home and cried the whole time because I wasn't able to make it. I did have fun doing the Fashion Photo Tour. What a great idea, and once again thank you for offering this great oppertunity.
Now for a suggestion. When you look into your crystal ball next time, See if Positano, Italy on the Amafi coast is in there anywhere. Positano is considered one of the most beautiful places on the planet. I think it would be a great back drop or just a darn good place to vacation. Wishing for all continued sucess.
I just wanted to say Thank You for all your planning efforts & organization for Bikini Jam 21 in Puerto Vallarta. It was nice to see the sponsors play such a big role in the event both at the expo & in contact with the models. I was able to find several companies (Total Mass & Action Event Pros) whom I feel will be good to work with & I am so happy that Ujena provided the contacts.
A special Thank You for the parties planned at the sponsoring clubs each night, we were able to meet other models that we don't have time to interact with during our hectic shooting schedules during the day.
And a Special THANK YOU for Kato Kaelin being at our event filming his show. He was such a great sport & made all the girls laugh, what a fantastic person he is, he made all of us have more fun at the Jam. He was so approachable, personable and a real team player. Thank you for an awesome week in beautiful Puerto Vallarta. I had a great time and learned a lot. I found everyone to be so friendly and helpful. It was great to make new friends and see others I hadn't seen in years! I'm planning to attend next year's Bikini Jam!
Can I make one suggestion for next year? I found it hard at times to find models to give them their CD's. What do you think about setting up at mailbox system, similar to what they use in schools (a wall of mail slots with only the competitors number on it - no names). Where a photographer can drop off cd's or messages to models and models can drop off messages for photographers. Maybe the last day be only for judging of the photos, the photos could be due by midnight before the last day. That would leave plenty of time for judging, and competitors can relax before the awards night. What do you think?

The winner of Bikini Jam along with the winner we picked for our Image Award. Those are Cristina Mendivil (Model of the Year) ande Jenn Thomas (Maxim en Español Cover Girl). Both girls will be flown to Mexico City and Puerto Vallarta (all expenses paid) to compete against 14 other models for the opportunity to become Maxim En Español's cover girl for our January 2007 issue. The Grand winner of Maxim Puerto Vallarta will be featured in the cover and takes home $15,000 USD prize. Second place takes $10,000 USD and third place $5,000 USD. All sixteen models will be featured in the magazine but only the first place gets to be on the cover. Also the whole event will be covered by film crews and two or three 1 hour long TV specials will be airing in Mexican television and optioned for sindication in latin markets.
The official name they're giving this year's contest is Puerto Vallarta Maxim desde Jalisco. The girls will be flown to Mexico City on October 15 for the press conference on the 16. They'll promote the contest on TV shows, Newscasts, internet, press and radio. They will fly to Puerto Vallarta on October 19. Maxim en Español photoshoots will take place from October 20-23. The second leg of the contest starts on October 24 and ends on the 29 with a fashion show with the winner being announced afterwards. The top 3 winners will be needed an extra week for promotional events.

I am happy to say that I won Ujena Jam Cabo and it was the most amazing time ever! I had placed top ten at my first Jam in PV and went on to win my second one. I had a blast in Cancun working staff for Ujena. I am already wanting to pack for P.V. LOL. Bob, Catherine, Steve, Keith, Dany, Martha, Crystal, Aurora, Trisha and Erika were amazing to work with. I don't think I have ever laughed so much in ten days. A special thank you to you all for making my first time on staff such a wonderful time. I attended the PV 2008 UjENA Bikini JAM...I met a lot of great people- photographers, models, and Ujena staff. I would definetely do it again cause it was a BLAST! 24 horas de viaje de regreso a España dan para mucho y en el avión no podía parar de recordar las miles de cosas bonitas que he vivido allí, los amigos que me llevo y sobre todo el cariño con el que todo el mundo me ha tratado.
Este premio es un reconocimiento al esfuerzo realizado en estos casi 6 años ya de fotógrafo profesional y algo que personal y profesionalmente necesitaba. Pero ahora empieza una nueva etapa en mi vida y estoy con mas fuerzas y mas ganas que nunca, mi sueño está al alcance de mi mano... y no se me va a escapar.

Perfectly covers the right curves…That’s Ujena Swimwear!
As a busty lady I set out to find my 2-3 suits for the season and came across UjENA and decided to try them out. Well, when I opened the package and felt the material I thought I was in heaven and in the back of my head was thinking, “I hope this fits!” Perfect fit!! Now that was odd since I’m a natural DDD and it’s rare for everything to fit so perfectly. So, I decided to research UjENA and see about opening a small store in little Hill Country, Texas. Justin was super helpful and easy to work with so we jumped onboard. Thus far EVERY customer that comes in contact with UjENA in my store falls in love with the fit, quality and fun styles. I can’t believe you are giving me the opportunity to write what I felt about Ujena the first time I went to a Bikini Jam with my daughter. I had heard a lot about the Ujena Bikini Jams from several photographers and thought it would be a great opportunity for my daughter to give it a shot. We totally underestimated the experience of “Ujena” THE COMPANY.
My daughter ordered several swimsuits from Ujena and there quality was top notched. My daughter and I signed up to go to the Puerto Vallarta Bikini Jam 23 and we were totally amazed at how we were treated, we were not just another name on a page. We had several other people who decided to go with us and coordinating rooms and everything else that went along with the trip felt so personalized. Cassandra with Ujena new who I was. When ever I needed help she new about everyone in my party and what we still needed to do. When we arrived in Puerto Vallarta we were treated like part of the family. I was overwhelmed by how much Ujena covered expenses at the Jam, from food, drinks and all the parties. Our trip was better than most vacations I have ever taken. I was able to meet some unbelievable friendly people at the jam, from the staff, to photographs, to models, to their families. And not just a one time meets, but friendships that we still keep in touch with. Competing in the Ujena competition for their top model was an experience my daughter tells everyone about. She never expected to make it to the top 20 and then found herself in the top 10. But it wasn’t just the Ujena top Model competition that drew her interest but the fact that she could talk to over 20 other companies about possible working for them as well. When we came back from Puerto Vallarta we couldn’t stop talking about the outstanding event Ujena had put on. So my daughter and I will be taking 10 new models and photographers with us to Puerto Vallarta this year.
One of the other things I love about Ujena is their web site Ujenatalent.com I love the fact that their site is divided up into categories and that you are not limited on how many photos you can put on your site. The fact that I can also respond back right away to someone who left me a message is great. The web site just has so many things of interest going on from contests to forums to who’s site is viewed the most.
Ujena gives people a chance to experience their dreams. From wearing their swimsuits and clothing, to being photographed by an photographer from a different country , to traveling to exotic locations with out having to pay outrageous prices. To meeting a friend on your site that lives on the other side of the world when you never imagined meeting them. It happened to us.
The reasons “I Love UjENA” can be summed up into 3 categories (and as soon as I mention them, they are going to be just as self evident to you as they are to me); Quality of Staff, Quality of Members, and Quality of Product.
As far as Staff, they are on the ball! I mean come on, I hadn’t even been a member for 24 hours and I’d already received inside information on incredible opportunities as a make-up artist for competitions in other countries! Who else can offer that?? I was quickly and efficiently made a member and I can honestly say, on another modeling site, it took me THREE WEEKS to join. My pictures took next to no time to be approved to my portfolio which is always a good thing when the whole point is to “get you work out there to be seen.” The site itself has easy access to information and very operator friendly with loading and organizing pictures in my profile. Organized, organized, organized is what they are!
The Members, you want to talk about, “Quality”? That is what UjENA has to offer. Page after page of talent! Models, Photographers, Make-up Artists, Hair, etc, you name it, they have it! If you want to know where the beautiful people are…Right here!!
And last but not least: Quality of Product. Incredibly hot swimwear, beachwear, day and evening wear! But really, that’s not even the only type of “products” that they offer: The UjENA Jams themselves are a product that they offer. Where else can professionals of all areas of modeling get together under “one roof” and create some fantastic, one of a kind art? Picking exotic location, the amount of time, energy and money that goes into making it happen” for everyone in attendance, that kind of dedication? That’s UjENA!

I discovered UjENA from a new friend, Jessica Lauren, whom I had the pleasure of meeting at a music video shoot that we both were in this past weekend. We decided to add each other as friends on myspace and keep in touch. When I went to her page I saw her banner for UjENA and it sparked my interest. I went to the website and fell in love with the clothes and swimsuits. I love Sexy clothes and I love clothes that make me feel and look sexy! Any woman that wears these clothes is gonna feel sexy and have a better assurance about herself. I also noticed that your site helps those who have the desire to be a model by offering workshops, help build portfolios, gain knowledge in the industry and many other helpful tools. I have made it a personal goal to get to the top as a model and a spokesperson. I want to show others that if they are willing to work hard and they believe in their desires, they can achieve their dreams and make them a reality. I also want to be the person that others are not afraid to talk to just because I am well known. I want them to feel comfortable enough to approach me and talk with me instead of thinking I am like all the others out there that don't seem to have time for them. I set up a photo shoot with one of the top 10 photographers, Ted Mebane, who shot me in some Ujena swimwear. I felt very comfortable and sexy in the swimwear. Ted told me about this website called Ujena Talent. I signed up not knowing what I was geting into or who Ujena was. After I signed up, I felt so welcomed by Ujena staff. I posted the pictures on my site and Ujena labled me one of their models. What company do you know does that? I know I don't get paid for being a Ujena model, but it is still an honor! I can't wait to go to my very first Ujena Jam in August.
There are many reasons why I love Ujena. I recently become a Team Leader for Georgia, and I am stoked. Whaaa hoooo. I love the fact that Ujena blessed me with such a great opportunity. Did I mention the wonderful swimwear.. ???? It totally rocks!... Hey for busty girls like me... you just can't find hot swimwear anywhere.:-) I found mine at Ujena... Never in a million years did I think I would be where I am today.
What a difference a journey can make.. yet it only begins with one step! I recently got nominated for the AMTC Maryland group finalists for the 2008 summer convention. And the best part is, I am working on putting together my own “little” UJENA team here in Maryland. My position was approved by the company I love to represent And by being a lawful model of UJENA.
What a difference a new attitude can make! I now know if you can believe it, you can achieve it. I have heard this so many times throughout my early journey with UJENA, though I didn’t really listen. When I started to believe it, things started happening! You see, it is not who you know, it is who you do not know. Those in my network community are people I never knew before.

I am a mother of four children and am 46 years old this coming March. I look awesome in Ujena, it is amazing how good I look in these swimsuits. I have three total now and hoping to get more as time goes by. I am just a regular woman, not a model but in Ujena I feel like a model. :) My husband is so impressed with the suits. Why do I love Ujena? First, the people. They are top-notch, first class, cream of the crop. Truly. Second, the suits and clothes!! No matter how you're feeling on any given day, the right suit or dress can, and will, pick you up and put a sexy little grin on your face! I'm living proof of that fact! When I first came to Ujena, I had been a stay at home Mom for 11 years. What did I know of swimsuits? Didn't matter, they were interested in what I had to say and ....here's the kicker, they LISTEN to their buyers! They want us all to be happy and feeling our best and sexiest, each time we slip on anything Ujena; even if it IS just a ballcap! ;-) They are wildly creative and because of this, you find the best suits at the best prices, all made right here in the USA. I wonder how many OTHER swimsuit companies that deluge your mailbox with useless catalogs six or seven days a week, can say that..not many, if any at all. AND..by not sending out those annoying catalogs everyday, they keep their product priced right, so everyone can enjoy the sexiness that only a Ujena Swimsuit can make you feel! Sexy AND affordable? It MUST be Ujena.
Every time I login to my site, I always have tons of new messages from amazing new people. Not only do I get the average, “Hey, Welcome to Ujena”, message, I also get some amazing advice from the members and great opportunities for work.
This past August, I was able to attend my first Bikini Jam. I wasn’t sure what to expect or how this event would work, but I knew that it was going to be a great experience that would last a life time.
Ujena has an extensive amount of resources that several organizations don’t. With these resources, it definitely makes traveling very affordable and an amazing experience for everyone. Where else can you travel to an exotic location, have all your nightly sponsor parties, food, and travel covered for such a low fee?
Thanks to all of my UT friends, when I attended the Ujena Bikini Jam 23 everyone knew who I was when I got there. I can now say that I am a World Famous Model and I owe Ujena for that. My goal in life now, is to become a World Famous Supermodel…..known by all!
After participating in two jams, I’ve been able to travel to exotic locations, build up my portfolio, and learn from my peers.
From all the nightly sponsor parties that allow you to meet and greet everyone, it’s the earlier activities in the day that are a real adventure. When I attended the Jam in P.V., I was able to participate in the El Tigre’s annual golf tournament. I had an amazing time, because I was able to have the once in a life time chance to visit and take photos with the tigers that they house and protect as an endangered species.
As a model, I see the Jams as a huge workshop. Where else could I sit with top international photographers and models and learn from them, as well as get my foot in the door with the networking companies and sponsors?
Ujena’s staff are huge supporters of you and will work with you so that both parties benefit from each other. They know how to help people that want to follow their dreams but who sometimes can't afford it by giving out scholarships and holding contests on a regular basis.
Ujena has a lot of amazing bikini’s and clothing at prices that people can really afford, and they fit and wear great!
The videos that are produce and exposure through the media are incredible. I just saw the movie of the Ujena Jam Cancun and let me say it was excellent.
I would diffidently recommend Ujena and their Bikini Jams to everyone in the industry, even to some friends to give them an excuse to have a great vacation at a low cost and be surrounded by beautiful women!
I love Ujena because like a smorgasbord, it has a little bit of everything to satisfy anyone’s craving. Unlike some other sites, Ujena Talent, or UT, cost me nothing to sign up with no monthly fees and I’ve been able to showcase an indefinite amount of images.

Ujena is awesome in every way! I own Ujena bikinis' and they fit and wear great! I am a model on the site which opened many doors for me and allowed me to meet alot of new interesting people that enjoy the same things as I do. I have not yet been able to attend a jam but look forward to doing so in the future. Ujena knows how to help people that want to follow a dream but sometimes can't afford to by holding contests on a regular basis. Last but not least Ujena is like a family to me they are always here when I need them. Don't change a thing I Appreicate everything your company does! I love you!

My name is Ashley Almon, I am 21 years old and I live in northern Alberta, Canada and I have been a participant in the Ujena jams and website for two years. It all started out when Amber Snow and I did an advertising photo shoot together (Amber and I live in the same location) and she mentioned a ‘Modeling week competition in the beautiful location of Puerto Vallarta only a few months away. She also mentioned possibly getting a sponsorship from my employer at the time who we just did the advert photo shoot for.
Three and a half months later I was on a plane to a place I had never experienced. Mind you I had never been outside of Canada before and never had the opportunity. I stepped off the plane and into the Ujena world and I was hooked ever since.
Ujena helped me grow as a model, hostess and actress. Ujena also taught me how to live an active and healthy lifestyle.
Ujena has a very copious amount of resources a lot of organizations do not have. They host at exotic locations, which is a benefit because it abeles you to indulge in the beauty of the locations and experience an array of cultures and their diversity and also incorporate that into your photos and overall experience. With Ujena’s resources, it definitely makes traveling a very affordable and fun experience. I am so grateful I found out about Ujena, they allow me to open so many doors...
Another benefit of having such a well organized event is that Ujena has an array of activities daily that are suited for all participants. From the posh nightly sponsor parties that allow you meet and greet some big names and some big talent, to the earlier activities in the day that are a real adventure; such as El Tigre’s annual golf tournament where there is a once in a life time chance to visit with the neighbouring tigers they house and protect as a endangered species (a great cause!). We have more as the Ujena Big Game Fishing Tournament rolled out in ’07 which offers a whole lot of fun to anyone interested in a model on the boat and hauling in a record fish of 1,155 lbs.
Furthermore with the fitness side there are more and more fun filled programs where all ages and participants are encouraged to join in on such as a 5k race in the heart of the city, and contributing to a performance in the Bikini Acrobatics event. Although I only listed a few events there is so much more!
I would just like to put my heart out and thank Ujena for the opportunity’s they have given me, and to the web designer Waitmen Gobble, As the web design and information makes printing out a professional package for my sponsors a real breeze and is another undeniably great tool.
I love Ujena, and look forward to contributing to Ujena’s already sterling reputation and organization.

I just got back from Ujena Jam Cancun and it was so much fun. I was so excited to be nominated in the top 11 Ujena Models! Jam 23 in Puerto Vallarta was a tremendous success. I can't emphasize how fortunate I feel to have attended and also placed top 20. I came away from the trip feeling very rewarded and satisfied. Thanks to all the tremendous photographers I had the pleasure of working with, and also to Bob, Catherine, Lisa and Ujena staff for continuing to make this a positive and beneficial experience for everyone.

Ujena Jam 23 was my first Ujena Jam, and I have to say it was a blast. I now know what to expect at the next one I am able to attend. I got a chance to work with some great photographers, and met so many wonderful people. I had a great time at the Jam. It was my first one, so, I will be better prepared for the next. I definately want my foot in on Cancun. So, I will be turning in my deposit next week.
I had an even better time this year, which is hard to believe. Ujena puts on a first class production and I learned so many new things and met so many wonderful people. I don't think I will be making it to Australia, but I hope to see you again for Spain or PV.

I really like your site it is probably the coolest ever.
I just returned from my first jam ever. I had a great time in PV. If it wasn't for Bob contacting me with Americanmodel.com's scholarship I would have never made it. So, thanks bunches! There were some rough times while I was there, but I know how everything works now, so, I'll be better prepared next time. All of the Ujena family are awesome as well as everyone else I met. Hope to see Ujena again soon!

WOW!!!!! Spain what an absolutely wonderful place!! Just got back from Spain via a few days in New York and I still am talking about Spain and the Jam. It was a wonderful experience and I have fallen in Love with Europe and can't wait to go back.... It was the perfect location to hold the first European Bikini Jam and I am sure next year will be soooo much bigger!! It was really nice to have it small and personal for the first time, so much more time to enjoy the surroundings, shoot and visit with old and new friends. Between showing up late, sorry :(( to being yelled at by the Spanish police for crossing those railroad tracks with 4 suitcases, to the endless parties, new friends and the old friends from PV, everything was just great.... You guys did an amazing job of pulling it all together and the new suits are just amazing, what a great job on the designs!! I was not able to shoot as much as I would have liked, but the photographers I was able to shoot with were wonderful, from taking great photos to making me feel completley comfortable.... I had the best time and was thrilled to make Top 10 once again!! See you all in PV :))
Hey Bob and everyone who helped with Bikini Jam 22 Europe. I enjoyed the the Bikini Jam in Spain even more than the one in PV last summer. I can't believe it!
Thank you sooooo much for picking such a killer place and arranging such a great event. I think I liked the pace of this event more than the one in PV. It might just be because I arrived a little earlier, and it wasn't so "new" to me this time, but I sure did get some great photos, and I think I made more friends this time than last time. I really look forward to coming to the next jam in Mexico. Hopefully I can get the money together to make it a 10 day trip this time.
Sorry, but I don't want to start naming names of people I'm thankful to, because I don't want to leave anyone out. Everyone, thanks for helping make this trip awesome!

I just wanted to tell you what a GREAT time I had in Sitges. I'll have memories to last forever! Except for a few kinks, things went pretty well, considering it was our first time in Europe. In comparison to the jams in Mexico, since this was a smaller event, it had a much more personal and more meaningful feel to it. I felt that I really got a chance to get to know the people involved. Even though Kelly Szabo and Amber Lee were good friends of mine from previous, I think I never would have had the opportunity to get to know Tracy, Andria, David, Alex and the others on such a personal basis. The smaller group and the leisurely pace of this event really made a big difference, and I like that better. I had no problem in helping out models in times of despair. Amber and Kelly needed some help with their hair accessories since their units overloaded with the higher voltage. But hey, you know me. When hair is involved, I'm there! Special thanks must be given to Martin, David, Henry and Alex. Thanks to their cars, we were able to get to locations in the centre with no problems! I hope we can do another jam in Europe! Thanks to everyone for making the event so memorable!

I just returned from Bikini Jam 22 in Sitges, Spain. I had an amazing 9 days. You did a great job on choosing a wonderful location for the 1st Jam in Europe. I am so happy that I was able to be a part of it! I am thrilled to have had the chance to shoot with you! I made the TOP 10 for the models and my sponosor: Mark Haas made the top 5 for photographers! Once again, thank you Mark for sponsoring me for Bikini Jam 22, you are the best. I had a wonderful roommate Amber Lee. She really made my trip an outstanding experience. I felt like we had been long lost best friends. I am so happy to have her as a new friend in my life. Brian Williams came to both Amber's and my rescue on numerous occassions. Thank you so much for the blowdryer and flat iron. I had a blast filming with Bennett Productions for both Bikini Jam 22 and Playing in Paradise. Everybody with the crew was a pleasure to work with. I finally had the chance to work with Patrik Book. He is an incredible photographer and now a new friend, friend for life. I am so excited about the chance to go to Sweden and visit both him and Madeleine. Oh yes, and sweet Madeleine. The blonde goddess! She is gorgeous and sweet, what a combination! Catherine Cross lended her hand in make up artistry. She made me look beautiful. She made all of the girls in the top 10 look absolutely gorgeous for the shootout!
There are so many more wonderful people and memories I have from this trip! I promise to write more later. Please know that each and everyone of you brought something new and special into my life. Thank you!

I have been wanting to write you guys for a while...my sister and I are booking our vacation to go back to Puerto Vallerta. She saw all the pics and heard the stories and us convinced that Ujena Bikini Jam is the place to be. The program, parties, award show, activities...Everything was awesome!! My friends and I had a wonderful time this year in Puerto Vallarta. All of the models, photographers and guests were warm and friendly. I made so many new friends during the week. I am glad that Jamie Blanchard invited us to join her in Mexico. I am looking forward to next year and already have a list started of my friends who want to join us. Thank you again for a wonderful event.
The Ujena Bikini Jam was very well-organized. The parties I attended had great food and service, and great layout. Christina's Nightclub was awesome with a the big bands flipped on a large screen like the Rolling Stones. The Academy Night, awards night, was liked a Las Vegas show, very professional. Kato's presence was an ice-breaker. He was very friendly and lively, and whoever got him on-board at Ujena was very smart. I just wish I would have met more people.
There is going to be a Jam event in Europe? I have dreamed of going to Europe since I was a little girl! Is that next summer? I just landed a good paying job so I hope to save up to attend again, although it will be rough, I emptied out my college savings to attend this year's jam, and I felt it was worth it. I didn't care about winning, I knew that was probably far fetched. To be completely honest, I am shocked I made it in top 10 for OMP! Even more shocked I made top 20 for Ujena!
Thank you so much for choosing me. And I finally got to me one of my biggest inspirations and idols, Sarah Ponce...never did I think a model could be so kind and down to earth! I met so many awesome girls, I never dreamed I would even make it this far.
It was a pleasure to meet you Bob. I feel honored I got to work with you for the catalog. I can't wait to see it when it comes out!! Hope to see you at Bikini Jam 22!

I would recommend this event for photographers who want to experience a real life shoot where your skills in communication, photography, scouting, creativity, collaboration, time management, and physical stamina are tested and judged. Or you can go there to relax, have fun in the sun and shoot a couple great models in a bikini or two.

This was my first time attending the Bikini Jam! I had a blast! I worked with some amazing photographers. I am thrilled with the images that that I got. They are definitely my best bikini images images thus far. I competed for the Paradeez Spokesmodel contest and was one of the four finalists. Everyone with Paredeez was absolutely fanstastic! I am can't wait to see the DVD that they are putting together for me. This will definitely be an assest to my acting career. I met so many new friends during my stay in Puerto Vallarta. I know some of them will be friends for life. The Bikini Jam has helped to take my modeling career to the next level. I can't wait for next year!

I just wanted to say that this years jam was fantastic. I enjoyed meeting all of the other photographers and models. The experiences will stay with me forever. I'm astounded at how much I've changed as a photographer in such a small time because of the bikini jam.
I came down knowing I was doing well as a photographer, satisfied in the results of my photography and the 'path' in life that my work seemed to be taking me down. After attending the jam and working so closely with the models and exceptionally skilled photographers I have a whole new respect for photography. I've always been happy with the results of my photoshoots, but never ever have I been emotional about the results. Never have I been so thrilled, even with the unphotoshopped raw images, that I couldn't wait to show any and everyone who would take a moment to look.
I never knew how different 'bikini model photography' could be.... Why would it be? Now I know. I'm enthralled in it, it's all I can think about. The next location, the best model to shoot, I've lost the interest in wedding photography etc. Just to be a part of your amazing event ... well there are no words to describe how much it's changed and helped me. I've found what I'm sure I want to persue as a career in life.
I've never been around so many strangers, in competition with them, and felt so welcomed, so 'at home'. You really are blessed with success in an amazing industry. The awards.... The stage was phenomenol. I was floored at how classy the whole awards ceremony was. I had no idea it would be so prestigious. I can only anticipate how stupendous the next one will be.
At the end of it all someone asked me how I felt about going home empty handed and I have to say, I've gone home from this with much more than an award could ever give me. I have a new sense of meaning, goals to strive for. I see these beautiful women and these hard working fantastic photographers up there smiling and holding their awards and I see in them what I am working so hard to achieve. Thanks to you and your staff, I can attend these events, I can live, learn and grow, and maybe one day I will be blessed with a chance to grace the stages recieving my own award for all my hard work. Perhaps one day I will be so lucky as to work side by side with the amazing people I've been so lucky as to work near this past year.
I could write for hours, but I won't take up too much of your time, I just wanted to let you know how much this all has meant to me.
I'm planning on coming back. I've been thinking about what I need to do differently next year to do better in the competition.
Another idea I'm thinking about is holding a local competition here either in Philadelphia or at the New Jersey shore with the winner receiving full sponsorship to Jam 22 that I would either find sponsors to fund or I would fund myself.
Xury and I just wanted to say thanks again for an amazing week. We met so many wonderful and talented people in Puerto Vallarta. Yourself, Catherine, Cassandra, and the rest of the Ujena family were also very helpful as well. Bikinijam 21 definitely exceeded all of our expectations and we look forward to even bigger and better for next year. Thanks again!!!
